How do I choose the right product for my application?
Choosing the right product for the right application is very important. if it is a “simple” application, you may check out our Product Guide. Please contact us with detailed requirements if you are not positive which product is right for you.
Which products are recommended for high temperature?
All products with the exception of our solvent and/or rubber based adhesives can withstand up to 150 degrees for a period of days. For any heat exceeding 150 degrees or exposure for an extended period of time, our Protex 8216-2 or 9759-2LC would be recommended. Please view the product page for details.
Is Protex readily available?
We are the manufacturer, therefore we have a 2-3 week lead. However, we have several distributors throughout the country, many that stock out product. Please check out our Distributors page.
Can you slit master rolls to size?
Do you have Die Cutting capabilities?
Yes. Please note it is a 3-5 week lead time. For more info visit our Die Cutting page.
How should the product be stored?
Our product should be stored in a dry place. Ideal temperature for storage is 60-85 °F (16-30 °C).
Can I mask a freshly painted surface?
Not recommended. Any adhesive applied to any wet curing surface will likely leave a mark or pattern.
How do I get sharp paint lines?
Do you have decal application/transfer tapes?
Yes. Options include our Protex 40S or 55.
Which tapes can be used for outdoor applications?
Most adhesives will degrade if exposed to outdoor elements. Many of our polyester products will withstand some outdoor exposure.
Are your products considered fly away?

How do I remove adhesion residue?
Any solvent should remove adhesive residue. We suggest Isopropyl Alcohol.
