PROTEX 8216-2C
Protex 8216-2C iis a 2 mil polyester film with an acrylic latex adhesive, clear, designed to protect various metal surfaces including polished, clad, bare and heat treated aluminum, stainless steel and various coated and un-coated plastic surfaces, e.g. stretched acrylic, Plex II, cast acrylic, and polycarbonates. PROTEX 8216-2C is capable of withstanding prolonged outdoor exposure.
*This product is not intended for fly-away applications. Test prior to use on copper, brass or anodized aluminum or before outdoor exposure.

TEST RESULTS
SOLVENT RESISTANCE:
1,1,1, Trichloroethane Degrease - 1 hr. @ 140 degrees F. - No transfer, slight edge penetration.
Excellent resistance to: Toluene, MPK, Alcohols, Trichloroethylene
HEAT RESISTANCE:
Acrylic & Aluminum 1 yr. outdoor and 150 degrees F. 200 hr. Atlas weatherometer
Clad Aluminum 96 hrs. @ 290 degrees F. 1 yr. @ 150 degrees F.
Polished Aluminum 1 yr. @ 150 degrees F
Autoclave 2 x 1 hr. @ 350 degrees F. and 35 psi
