PROTEX 8216-5BL
Protex 8216-5BL is a 5 mil polyester film with an acrylic latex adhesive, tinted blue, and has a flat liner for the purpose of die cutting or hand cutting. It is designed to protect various metal surfaces including polished, clad, bare and heat treated aluminum, stainless steel and various coated and un-coated plastic surfaces, e.g. stretched acrylic, Plex II, cast acrylic, and polycarbonates. PROTEX 8216-5BL is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 325 degrees and prolonged outdoor exposure. Chemical resistance recommended only after thorough initial testing.
*This product is not intended for fly-away applications. Test prior to use on copper, brass or anodized aluminum or before outdoor exposure.

TEST RESULTS
SOLVENT RESISTANCE:

1. 1,1,1, Trichloroethane Degrease - 1 hr. @ 140 degrees F. - No transfer, slight edge penetration.

2. Excellent resistance to: Toluene, MPK, Alcohols, Trichloroethylene.
